And yet, even as we are confined in great modern structures that we call our home and work spaces… we can still find ways to simulate nature and its elements into our own personal spaces. So much to say that we can definitely bring nature into our homes.

BLIMS recently launched ‘Design Elementals’, an exhibit showcasing a collection of six vignettes...inspired by the very elements of nature—Earth, Air, Fire, Water, Wood & Metal.

In collaboration with the Philippine School of Interior Design (PSID), one of the most prestigious design school in the country. BLIMS brings together six well - noted designers to give life to home and work spaces with designs that are based on the properties of the elements of nature.

At the helm of this collaborative creation is PSID’s JIE PAMBID, one of the country’s influential fixture in the Interior Design circuit. With his own design firm where he handled top companies as clients, for this particular exhibit, JIE carefully put together the best designers there is in town to come up with nature-inspired design ensemble.

Take a peek at the beautiful artistry that was put together for BLIMS in this exhibit "DESIGN ELEMENTALS".

Created by MARK PEREZ of Empire Designs.
He took his inspiration from the METAL Element. This is an industrial wilderness vignette, artistically showing how contrast features can intertwine and meld in a beautiful synergy. The result is a whimsical and modern look. This kind of look is most favored in today’s contemporary interiors.
Design Elementals- BLIMS and PSID
A creation of GELO DEL MUNDO
a graduate of the University of Asia & the Pacific and PSID.
Inspiration is WATER Element. A most refreshing vignette, this one is a personal favourite. This design spells relaxation, as it is both soothing and calming. Gelo’s design is cool and fluid, almost seamless.
Design Elementals- BLIMS and PSID
Created by Interior Designer PEACHES DE GUZMAN-GREY.
Her design harnesses the power of the WOOD Element. Her vignette uses different types of wood as accent wall and flooring and BLIMS new furniture collection. The inviting and warm appeal of her design makes for a versatile, classic and eco-friendly piece. Admittedly, another personal favorite of yours truly.

Nature has always been a great inspiration for designers, whether young or old…even time and again. Furniture and furnishings that are nature- inspired makes our homes warmer and especially if we live (and work) in urban, concrete jungle- -these kind of designs are the perfect choices that would definitely bring us closer to nature.

This is what BLIMS Fine Furniture brings to us, through their recently launched exhibit – Design Elementals.

But wait, there is more. This exhibit aims to revive the beauty and majesty of nature ravaged in the minds of the people with the very recent turn of events that our country experienced.  This also aims to bring hope and help for the people of Samar and Leyte.

In solidarity with the families and communities affected by Typhoon Yolanda, BLIMS Fine Furniture, together with PSID Alumni Association, partners with the Philippine Red Cross in creating a much more meaningful affair.

To kick off the fund raising initiative, an auction was integrated in the event with the purpose of helping in rebuilding Samar and Leyte. BLIMS Fine Furniture will also be donating 20% of all proceeds from the Design Elementals Exhibit which happened last November 27 to December 11 @ Greenbelt 1 Makati City, in support of the Yolanda relief efforts.  Let us all once again honour nature.

**love and light to all**
